• · Atlanta Kayakers is strictly a volunteer, e-mail based group of individuals who love sea kayaking who's sole contribution is to suggest venue and provide useful information related to that activity

• By participating in an event all individuals and their families acknowledge that fellow participants, website designers and lenders of any gear are to be held blameless for and damage to or loss of gear, personal illness, injury or death

• Participants attending activities posted to the Atlanta Kayakers' website are solely responsible for their personal 
  safety and in possession of gear appropriate to the conditions that may be encountered at any given activity. 
  

• Attempts are made to schedule activities for a wide variety of skill levels, kayaking is 
  an inherently dangerous activity. 
   

•  Users of the Atlanta Kayakers' website are not professional guides, and are not necessarily trained in First 
  Aid, CPR and do not necessarily carry first aid equipment or any devices or appliances necessary for rendering first aid or performing rescues.

• All participants are encouraged to obtain experience and training before engaging in a paddle or any other activity posted on the website.
